What People Are Saying About Dawg Tired Dog Beds.
Dawg Tired has received a few nods from some pretty influential sporting writers and magazines. Here's a few we'd like to share with you.
Shooting Sportsman Magazine - "Pampered Partners"
"Equal time for indoors. If your dog spends any time in the house, it will find a favorite rug or piece of furniture where, if you let it, it will stretch out and drift off into dreamland. I read somewhere that a dog with nothing to do can sleep up to 22 hours every day. Make that 23 hours if the animal is pushing age 15. My setters live outside. Each has his own run within chain-linked fencing secured to my detached garage. Sleeping boxes are in the garage itself, with swinging Plexiglas doors allowing access. Although they're "outside" dogs, I like to bring them inside now and then. As I write this, Sherlock is splayed out, like a lanky teen, on a beautiful, cushioned sleeping pad made by Dawg tired Premium Dog Beds. This company makes a product that just gets it right. The materials used are top-rate and options abound from shape, size, stuffing and fabric. Using the company website, you can order your dog's bed. It's fun to visit, even if you're not looking to buy now."
"Two months ago I ordered online a circular pad in size large, which is 42" in diameter and recommended for 40- to 70-pound dogs (my setters weigh 50 to 55 pounds each). S (30"), M (36") and XL (48") are also available, and you can get all four sizes in rectangular shapes, too. Made from recycled plastic soda bottles, the polyester fill, called ComfyStuff, is soft and quiet and retains its spring longer than other fibers, according to the company. Those qualities appear to be true. When one of my dogs isn't stretched out on the pad, my two children, ages 2 and 5, jump on it and use it as a chair for watching TV. The bed hasn't broken down yet."
"Top and bottom fabric choices include canvas, denim, waxed cotton, fleece and several Woolrich patterns - all machine-washable if you follow company recommendations. For the top, I picked fleece because it is soft and the off-white "oatmeal" color wouldn't show hair shedding from the setters. For the bottom, wanting a traditional look, I selected a red-plaid Woolrich pattern. A week later, it looked great on the family room floor before the fireplace."
Sporting Classics Magazine - "Top Shelf, Tried & Proven Products"
"Dawg Tired dog beds are designed and sewn in the U.S.A. using premium-quality, upholstery-grade fabrics in styles and colors that include Woolrich wools, waxed-cotton canvases and rugged, pre-washed denims. Outer covers are double-stitched with surged seams for extended, long-lasting life. The inner liner is constructed with a three- or four-tube baffled design to keep the filling from spreading to the outside of the bed. For extra loft, the liners are overstuffed by ten percent with ComfyStuff, an eco-friendly, polyester fiber manufactured from recycled soft drink bottles. All beds are tested by the company's accomplished dog nappers, including founder and CCO (Chief Canine Officer) Maggie Hunter."
The Upland Almanac - "Dawg Tired Dog Beds"
"If you can spend thousands on a fine custom shotgun then you can certainly justify investing much less for the comfort of your canine hunting companion. Right? Well, the folks at Dawg Tired feel the same way. They have developed a line of dog beds built to your specifications. This includes material, shape and size to match the needs of Poochie as well as even the indoor theme of your home and/or hunting camp."
"Most dog beds available in retail stores are low quality products brought in to fulfill a merchandiser's low price point needs. The result is poor comfort and poor value after inexpensive cotton fabrics and bed fillers lose their shape and resiliency, resulting in something that looks rather shabby and can easily fall apart in the washing machine. In response, Dawg Tired has introduced a series of American-made beds that are a cut above in quality, craftsmanship with designer fabrics. All Dawg Tired bed covers are 100 percent washable and constructed to offer longtime comfort and good looks. The Upland Almanac Senior Canine Staff member Snowy, an aging English Pointer, tested one of the circular Dawg Tired beds. At 12 years and after many, many miles in the uplands, Snowy requires comfort. Her needs were clearly fulfilled, as she now would rather sleep on her Dawg Tired custom dog bed than eat. Well, maybe not quite, but she really does like the bed. Furthermore, she appreciates the resilience of the fibers. Other "brand X" beds she's used left her imprint after just a few minutes of rest, while the Dog Tired bed has lasting resiliency, much as a good quality orthopedic mattress for humans would."
"Snowy's people like the idea of being able to remove the zippered outer shell for laundering. Furthermore, the plaid fabric adds a touch of outdoor nostalgia to their home decor. Dawg Tired's rugged, heavy canvas beds are perfect for the back of a pickup of SUV, and the beds made from quality, waterproof waxed-cotton w ill keep their good looks after being slept on by wet or dirty dogs, too. The Dawg-Tired website offers dog owners the opportunity to design their own bed online. Following a simple step-by-step design process, visitors to the site can select just the right size, shape and liner for their favorite dog and then pick from a wide variety of Woolrich woven woolen fabrics, fleece, waxed cotton and rugged canvas fabrics as well as choosing colors for their new bed's top, bottom and side panels. Then their custom bed is built to order and shipped within four working days, so most customers receive their order within 7 to 10 days."

Dawg Tired's line of dog beds for your loyal pooch are made in the U.S. with natural fibers and overstuffed with recycled polyester for extra loft over time- perfect for weary after hunt dogs and an extra comfort for older working canines with arthritis and other joint problems.
