CARING FOR YOUR DAWG TIRED DOG BED

Wool/Waxed Cotton Bed Covers:

Wool and waxed cotton bed covers are machine washable – but you MUST follow these instructions:

  • For best results, remove the cover from your bed and turn the cover inside out.
  • Machine wash your cover on the gentle cycle in COLD water with a mild detergent.
  • Hang dry. DO NOT MACHINE DRY WOOL OR WAXED COTTON.

Caring For Your Urban Bed Cover:

  • For best results, remove the cover from your bed.
  • Zip cover closed.
  • Machine wash your cover in warm or cold water with a mild detergent.
  • If your cover is fleece/suede, or suede combination, you can machine dry on normal – these are very dryer-friendly fabrics. Cotton canvas covers should hang dry for best results or dried on low to prevent shrinking.
  • Fabric is pre-shrunk, but to be safe we recommend line dry or very low heat dryer setting.

Caring For Your K9 Kloud

Washing Your K9 Kloud Cover:

  • For best results, remove the cover from your bed.
  • Turn the cover inside out.
  • Machine wash your cover on the gentle cycle in cold water with a mild detergent.
  • Hang dry.

Washing Your K9 Kloud Insert:

  • Unzip and remove the insert from the outer bed cover.
  • Unzip the insert and remove the foam from the center. (You will notice a very thin sheet of plastic the weight and thickness of a dry cleaning bag in with the sheet of foam. Do not throw this away. This plastic sheeting will make sliding the foam back into the bed after washing easier.)
  • With the foam removed, zip the cotton insert closed and wash insert in a large capacity machine with warm or cold water and mild detergent.
  • Zipped insert can also be dried in a large-capacity dryer on low heat. For best results, fluff the insert in dryer with a tennis ball to separate and fluff fiber.
  • To slide the foam back into the insert, wrap plastic sheeting around foam on the entry side for simple gliding, zip and put cover back on.
  • When putting cover back on it is easiest if you fold the insert in half, slide on the cover and then let the insert "open" inside the cover. The cover is intentionally a snug fit, to maximize the loft and support of the interior cushion.
